The ba wu originated from   the province of Yunnan  in Southern China although it is now found throughout the whole of the country.

The ba wu is played transversely [horizontally] and produces a  clear, clarinet-style sound.

Consisting of a long flute-shaped body,   this  beautiful, authentic  ba wu was handcrafted from black bamboo in China and features carved Chinese characters
